I have been so worried that I have no pictures of Calvin. He is 10 month old now! So I downloaded the pictures off my phone and I actually have some really cute ones of him. He is just so amazing and cute and different from Bradley. I love it!

These pictures are taken from my phone, but it's better than nothing. Calvin is so stinkin cute. Growing way too fast, beautiful blue eyes, precious smiles, the most adorable face, and the stinkiest toots!

The other night Bradley accidentally ripped his tag off his blanket. This was a pretty big deal since he takes his tag all day and rubs it on his face (particularly his nose) and rubs it in between his fingers.
His quotes throughout the night:
"tag go?"
"oh no!"
"tag off"
"tag dirty" -then he washed it in the sink
He then carried it around, put it in is pocket, and continued to rub it on his nose. This may be a good thing. Maybe he will be satisfied with just the tag instead of needing his whole blanket. Think of the possibilities... he can take it to school, work, mission, wedding. Way better then dragging his blanket around the rest of his life (David, I love you!).
Good thing we have a back up blanket until I reattach it.

Bradley loves Calvin's toys. This is how I found him when he was suppose to be taking a nap on his bed. The next day he wanted to sleep in Calvin's crib for his nap. I love it.

I think a dinosaur for halloween will be perfect. He roars so cute.

If it's not evident from this picture, Bradley loves the Markham's apple trees. He also eats all their canned peaches, pears, apple sauce, cherry and grape jam. Did I mention how much I love having such amazing neighbors? Bradley will hate us if we ever move.

4th of July was awesome! Garrett's parents got us 2nd row seats (on the grass) to the Stadium of Fire! That's right. Carrie Underwood performed. I was in heaven... and so was Garrett. We couldn't believe how beautiful she was and how great of a singer she was live.
We also watched the parade. It was so hot! But Bradley loved every minuet of it. Especially the balloons.

This picture was just too cute not to post.

Who would have thought a laundry basket and balloon could make a kid so happy? I hope he is always this entertained.

Garrett turned 26!
He got everything (i hope) he wanted... lots of camping gear. Then we went on our first camp out as a family. It was a lot of fun. Bradley loved it. I am lame and don't have any pictures of our sweet outing, but there will be plenty more camping trips to come.
Garrett also got a ukulele from his sister Taylor. Now Calvin Kawika will have some Hawaiian music to fall asleep too:)

This was the last night Bradley slept in is crib. He grew up way too fast!

Me and Bradley flew to Vegas, then drove to California with my family to attend our cousin Brock's wedding. It was beautiful! I wish Garrett could have been there, but we had a fun little vacation. I miss the beach and so does Brad. He was running into the ocean, getting knocked down by the waves, and eating all the sand. I'm so glad my sister and brother were there playing with Brad and letting him have so much fun.

We then drove back to Vegas and hung out with the family until Garrett met us there for our Day Family Reunion.
Lots of swimming, playing with cousins, jumping on the tramp, and bowling for the first time.
And we all loved the reunion. We played minute to win it games and spent the day in the mountains. Can't get any better than that.

While Garrett was watching players being "cradled" by their coach, Taylor and I slaved in the kitchen.

Taylor made the chocolate covered strawberries... so good! And I made some rice krispie eggs that we all decorated. Garrett was pretty creative, putting peach rings on his.
And since that wasn't enough food, we tie dyed eggs after Bradley went to bed.
We had so much fun this Easter and are so grateful to be living close to family again.

I think it's safe to say that Brad loved the pre-Easter festivities.

Happy Easter Bradley!
This picture was taken Easter morning. Snow. Are you kidding me? At least Grandpa Day wasn't there, cuz he said it would have been perfect; just hide the white eggs on the lawn. I hope he was kidding:) Bradley would have given up once he realized the white stuff made his hands hurt.
Beside that, we had a great Easter.

The Easter Bunny made a trail of eggs to help Bradley find his basket.

We probably should have let him play with the eggs the week of because they turned out to be more of a distraction. He was so distracted he almost fell down the stairs a few times. Whoops.

He wasn't sure he should let go of the eggs to go after his basket. But once he saw the cars the Easter Bunny left he thought it was worth it. So cute.

Then, after playing with the cars for a few minuets, he grabbed the basket and started putting the eggs in it. It was the cutest thing. So for the rest of the week that was his favorite game.
Now that Bradley has mastered one holiday, he can show Calvin how it's done.

Once we decided Taylor had slept enough, we woke her up to start looking for her basket.
Don't worry Tay; I wont say how long it took you or how many clues you needed:)
Lets just say that Garrett thinks you still owe his 5 bucks.
Serves you right for taunting the Bunny the night before!

It was so much fun to be able to spend Easter with you Tay.
And if it weren't for you, we would have never gotten addicted to Glee!

We're counting down the days! This Saturday we are
moving back to Utah.

12 months old and growing...

Bradley did so good at his 1-year-old doctor appointment. He had to get 6 shots! But at least they gave him cute band aides to play with.
He still doesn't have much hair, or teeth (5 all grown in and three about to poke through all at once... tear), but at least he is growing.

Garrett and I just celebrated our 3 year Anniversary.
I can't believe how lucky I am to be married to someone that is so
AMAZING!
He is the best husband, father, comedian, and listener.

This year he surprised me by...
coming home early,
carrying beautiful roses,
having the car all packed with our beach gear,
lunch, and dessert,
bringing his ipod with newly purchased country songs
(and he did an awesome job picking them out!)
and a magazine,
and took Bradley and me to the beach for the afternoon.

I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary.
I love you babe.

Halloween...

Look at those teeth! I love it.

We went to a pumpkin patch with our friends Jonelle, Spencer, and Logan this year. Although the patch was a little lame, it was fun to go with friends.

Luckily for Garrett, the pumpkins got moldy before I took pictures to post and be judged. There's no way he could have won:)
Bradley picked out a cute white pumpkin and we decorated it with awesome face stickers.
"White pumpkin for a very white boy," said Garrett.

Bradley went to the ward trunk or treat as a monkey. The costume was too cute on him to resist. And it was very fitting since we call him Monkey Head -picked up from his Mamosh, and Banana Pants -picked up from his cousin Anne.

Me and Garre went to a thrift store and found some awesome ugly Halloween sweaters. And since we were scared people in the ward wouldn't get we were making fun of them, we switched. So Garre wore mine and it barely covered his stomach. So hot.
If that didn't make an impression, I know his chili did. It was awesome and everyone loved it. What a cook!

What you may have missed in October...

Bradley got a little too scared this time.

Garrett and I always tell Bradley, "You better watch out.
We're gonna get you. You better run!" And he loves it.
He laughs and runs away. Well this time he got a little too scared
and ran right into the fan. One, of many to come, funny home videos for the Roses.

I've been trying to put more videos of Bradley
up but the files are too large:(
He is just so cute and knows how to do so much!
I wish our families could at least see it on a video.
So tonight when Garrett gets home we will make short clips of
Bradley being his adorable, hilarious, and very advanced self.

A proud mother's brag:

At the beginning of October Bradley (9 months) started to take his first steps without holding on to anything. As soon as Garrett got home from his trip Bradley's motor skills took off!

By the middle of October he (9 1/2 months) didn't want to crawl anywhere. Without any support, he would walk around the whole apartment, friends houses, and church only getting wobbly and falling a few times.

Now that he is 10 months old, he has mastered walking on all surfaces. Whenever we are out, and he is being held, he tries to jump out of our arms so he can walk on his own (and grab everything in his path... plants, trash, any items on the shelves at stores, ect). He is even really good at walking on grass. I still hover when he walks on the asphalt though. And he loves the stairs at our new place.

Last week he also got his 5th tooth! He now has 3 on the bottom and 2 very big and white shiny teeth on the top. At least he got something from his mother besides her eyes:)

Finally, he has learned a few tricks (mimicing Garrett and I) just in time for Thanksgiving. That is the whole reason we wanted a kid... to teach him how to do funny things so we could be entertained:)

I am just so amazed at Bradley's determination and
ambition to try everything.
I hate seeing him grow up so fast and cruise
through all the milestones I have been
anxiously waiting for. However, I know he has a lot more
to show me and even though he already
looks like a "kid", he will always be my baby Bradley.
I love him so much and can't wait to see
what he has to accomplish in the next few months.

Dave and Cheryl were so awesome to fly us down to Provo so we could see our family that we miss so much. The trip was so much fun. Plus... Kate, her sister (still yet to be named), Bradley, and I are now really part of the family since we made it in the Rose family picture:) Steve Cox did an awesome job as always.

Bradley 7-8 Months...

One of his favorite toys. He loves playing with his football and basketball. That's really what taught him how to crawl. He would throw them on the kitchen floor and have to chase them as they rolled out of his reach. So cute.

One of the many times he gets himself stuck. He tries to fit into the smallest places not realizing he'll have to eventually get himself out. Maybe he knows all he has to do is cry out for help and I'll come to the rescue. (After I get a picture of course.)

Bradley has been learning new skills faster then we can keep up.

A RECAP:

-He learned the army crawl at 7 months.

-At 7 1/2 months the army crawl is mastered and he can crawl with his belly off the ground.

-He started trying to pull himself up on furniture at 7 1/2 months. When I went to get him out of his crib one morning, he was standing up looking over the railing. Scary! We moved the crib down immediately.

-He also got his first 2 teeth, on the bottom, at 7 1/2 months.

-He has now mastered pulling himself up on EVERYTHING and is starting to cruise the furniture. He's fallen a million times in the attempt, but he can't seem to resist.

Our boy is officially 8 months old. I can't believe it.

My sisters came to visit this week and we thought it'd be fun to get pictures taken of the kids. Bradley did so well! That was probably due to the tylenol we gave him an hour before pictures:) He was so fussy with all the kids over. He's use to being the only kid around and I think he got overwelmed. So sad. I know. But I love how the pictures turned out. He is seven months now and I can hardly believe it!

We went to Disneyland with the Rose family and it is definitely a trip we will never forget. We had so much fun! It was great to spend time with them before our big move. We needed some more memories stored up to tell Bradley when he gets bigger:)

Our first time at California Adventure... and it was awesome! The most memorable ride would have to be the "stupid" water ride that made us all wet and freezing. Good times.

Bradley would have spun way too fast in our tea cup. He had a great time with his grandparents though.

The girls, and Garrett, made crowns one night. He loves his daddy.

Update... we're all moved and enjoying life in our new home. We miss Provo and especially being able to see Dave, Cheryl and Taylor whenever we want, but this is a great opportunity. I'm so proud of Garrett for his drive, passion, and hard work. He will do great at his new job.

Moving to California!

For those of you who havent heard the news, BB&G are moving to California. I accepted a job with the Boy Scouts in Santa Barbara so we are moving to Ventura. Why not live in Santa Barbara you ask? because we couldnt quite afford the average home price of 1.2 Million. Ventura was a little cheaper. :)

We found an apartment about 4 blocks from the beach so we expect all of you to come visit us and hang out. It will be really wierd and hard to move but it is a good opportunity. We are really excited.

He is so strong. Garrett loves to position him as superman.

He loves giving mommy kisses. However, I have to be careful when I do this now because today he throw up all over my chin, neck, and chest! It was a very close call to landing in my mouth! If this would have happened to Garrett I'm sure he would have thrown up also.

We've waited way too long in updating our blog. First of all, Bradley is home, healthy and happy. We really have the best little boy! He is so cute (as shown in his pictures) and is just a really good baby. He smiles all the time, farts a ton, and has made Garrett and I so grateful that he is in our lives.
Having a boy is so much fun! We love watching the weird, funny, cute faces he makes (the best ones are when he is sleeping). It is fun getting him ready and seeing him sport all his adorable clothes. And it is impossible to be frustrated with someone who looks at you with the biggest eyes and little smirk right after he poops and pees all over you! It's definitely gross, but little Bradley makes you laugh about it.
We are so thankful for all of the help our family has been, especially when Garrett was out of town. It is amazing to have so much support and love.
We'll be better about keeping up our blog and keeping everyone so far away up to date. There will be a lot of pictures too:)

Baby Bradley is finally here and he is so cute! Brooke was amazing throughout the entire delivery and is doing well today. She will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow night.

Bradley has had a tough time with his breathing and so he is in the NICU until they can figure out what is causing the problem.
The nurses say he is such a good baby and the only time he ever fusses is when they change his diaper. We are so excited he is finally here and can't wait until he can come home.

Can this place really be considered a cabin? There were too many bedrooms to count, too many bathrooms to keep track of, indoor golfing, theater that seats 17, pool, gym, sauna, multiple kitchens, ski up to patio and lounge, etc.

Garrett didn't do too bad. I think I can take him on a real course though:)

This stroller is the greatest! The back reclines, a car seat snaps right in, it's sooo small, turns on a dime, provides tons of shade, very light weight, and look how easy it is to fold! You seriously can't beat that. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Rose.

I have waited way too long to post about my amazing shower! My excuse: We didn't take any pictures and posts just aren't the same without them. But I have to thank my mom and sisters; they are awesome for putting it together. And thank you so much for everyone who came. I expected it to be like my wedding shower, but little did I know baby showers are way better! The food, decorations, and company were great at both, but the presents for Bradley were so much fun to open. I pictured my cute little baby in all the outfits, blankets, playing with the toys, getting pushed around in the stroller, and hopefully sleeping long nights in the crib (a mom can wish can't she?).

We did it... Went to a Birthing Class.

I didn't realize there was so much to learn until I went to a birthing class! Garrett & I only had to close our eyes a couple times! Besides that, we really enjoyed and appreciated having gone. Being a little more prepared for what is bound to come makes the anticipation less nerve racking. I don't think Garrett knew there was stuff he needed to do and remember when labor starts; he was probably planning on watching whatever game was on:) But really, he is so helpful and is always taking care of me and Bradley. It helps knowing that he's always there and that I'm not going through this alone.

Enough with the sap. The best part: Seeing how awesome the rooms are. The nurse said that the rooms are big enough to have an audience if I wanted. I don't know about that, but enough space for Garrett to pace around will be nice.

Garrett & I were a little worried that we wouldn't be able to find Bradley some clothes that wouldn't make him look gay, so we went shopping! Burlington had tons of baby stuff. They even had striped shirts and plaid shorts that didn't match... Now he can look just like his dad. Garrett did find the cutest Nike, Jordan matching outfits with beanies and booties; of course that meant we had to buy 5 sets (one in every color). We also hit up the famous Babies-R-Us and registered! It was a lot more stressful then registering for our wedding though.

I can't hardly wait until January 1st!

I must confess: I'm a hypocrite! I hated that my sisters, Jamie & Brittany, did not take more pictures of their baby bump, and here I am 25 weeks prego taking my first pictures. It's not that I don't love finally looking pregnant... I've just been tired, sick, busy, lazy, etc.

As you can see, I've been busy packing on the pounds. I don't feel bad about gaining as much weight as possible, even though little Bradley only weighs 1.5 pounds and is about 13 inches tall. As I see it, he needs all the swimming room I can give him if I don't want to get kicked as often. He also needs all the room he can get if he's going to grow up to be like his handsome dad.

Chillin wit da Boyz!

Last weekend Garrett & I got to chil wit da boyz! My brother David and his friends, Dylan & Mike, come up to Utah to watch the BYU game. We love when they visit- even if they seem crammed in our "little, brown shack", as Steven & Kylie have come to call it. It is very entertaining to watch them get ready each night before hittin up "P" town; lots of cologne, looking in the mirror, and wardrobe changes.

I would have to say that my favorite part about having my brother visit is seeing Garrett act like a high school kid. He fits right in; I love it. They talk and watch sports all weekend, eat more food for breakfast then I can possibly cook, and get into (a little too much) playing Saturday morning flag football. Not to mention their enthusiasm at the game! We sure are going to miss their visits when David is on his mission.

Big Gorilla

Talk about a self esteem killer...We went to the Africa Wild Animal Park in San Diego and they put these diagrams up there to show the public just how big gorillas are. I am sure it makes a cute picture for families to send there little kids up next to the Diagram to take home and show their friends. So when we get there and everyone is like "hey Garrett go stand next to the Gorilla diagram" and everyone realizes that Big G is as big as a Gorilla, the Zoo has a new attraction. Now we've got Asians running over trying to take pictures of this giant American man who is as big as a Gorilla. It is a good thing I am confident with who I am because that could have been a tough moment for me.:) so I found a new acronym... Big G now stands for Big Gorilla.

Well I guess it is time to start a blog since everyone and their dog is whining that we don't have one. I knew we were cool but I never knew other people cared about our "latest updates". Well if anything this will give us an excuse to take more pictures and show everyone how bald I am getting. Life is great in Provo. Brooke is 5 months prego with the future little Bradley Garrett Rose (We decided to name him after My best friend Brad who passed away while I was on my mission) and is starting to feel better. She was really sick for a long time and finally is starting to feel better. I am starting my last semester at BYU... Thats right... You heard it correctly, I am actually going to graduate and {hold the applause} going to get my master degree after graduation as well! This statement mostly invoked laughter instead of applause from my side of the family when I first brought it up to them because I am not the studious type to say the least. To put it quite frankly, I would rather go to a Celiene Dion concert and follow it up with a 6 hour marathon of women chatting about those dumb Vampire books than sitting through a 5o minute lecture on Statistics. So when I told them that I wanted to get my masters they were stunned. I think I shocked myself even. It has been a fun couple of semesters and we are hoping to get into UNLV's MPA program in January. (Dont worry Ryan, I already told my Dad I will wear a BYU shirt every day to school for two years until I graduate). Brooke is my sugar mamma and is still working hard at Calorimetry Sciences a TA Company... They make Calorimeters, scientific instruments that measure degrees... just google it. :) She pretty much runs the company and keeps everyone in line. She has been absolutely amazing through this pregnancy and we are so excited to have a baby. It will probably be the toughest baby in the world because of all of our "opinions" we have on how to raise your kids. :) I hear the phrase "just wait till you have your own kids" more than anything else now. I am afraid they are going to be little hellians. I am cool with them being ADD kids as long as they are not smart-alick punks like me. Anyway... We took some fun trips this summer and had some time to just relax so here are some pictures of pre prego Disneyland.
